Navy has proudly supported the Australian Surf Rowers League (ASRL) since 2008 and these competitors provide vital lifesaving duties and beach patrols on many Australian beaches.

While Navy’s aim is to “Fight and win at Sea” so too is the aim and determination of each surf boat crew. Navy and the ASRL surf boat crews share the values of teamwork and loyalty. Surf Rowers provide an essential community service by protecting and patrolling beaches in some of the roughest waters in the world. Just as the Surf Rowers are amongst the fittest and most determined members of any Life Saving Club the Navy encourages its members to maintain a fit and healthy lifestyle.
