In what was a stellar maiden season with Prodrive Racing, 2014 saw Chaz Mostert crowned King of The Mountain alongside a seventh place Championship finish.
The young gun proved his pace early in the season with a victory in Perth while stringing together a list of strong performances in the second half of the year, which he consolidated in a thrilling Bathurst win with Paul Morris.
Recording a win in just his 14th Formula Ford race start, the 2010 Australian Formula Ford Champion led home a memorable Ford 1-2-3-4 to make a strong announcement as a future star.

A star in karts, Mostert dominated the field in the 2010 Australian Formula Ford Championship, winning an incredible 10 of the last 12 races in the series.
In 2011 he made his Dunlop Series debut in a Ford with Miles Racing before being snapped up by Prodrive Racing after a stellar wet weather drive at Queensland Raceway after which he claimed a podium and pole position on his debut with the factory Ford team.
In 2012 he competed in the Dunlop Series full-time with PRA, winning two rounds and finishing third in the series behind Scott McLaughlin and Scott Pye. If it had not been for penalty points he would have been crowned champion.
He began 2013 driving an ex-Mark Winterbottom Falcon for MW Motorsport in the Dunlop Series and won the opening round at Adelaide before receiving a call-up through his PRA links to move out of the ‘DVS’ and take over the #12 Falcon at Dick Johnson Racing where he reaped instant success, taking out a victory in Race 24 at Ipswich.
