Team Info

Fresh from its best-ever season, Prodrive Racing Australia (PRA) enters the new era of V8 Supercars with a strong driver and technical line-up.

A busy off-season saw the team also gain new owners when motorsport identities Rod Nash and Rusty French purchased PRA from British automotive engineering firm Prodrive. Despite the sale, the team retains all key personnel and the day-to-day running remains under Team Principal Tim Edwards. PRA (formerly Ford Performance Racing) was established in 2003 after Prodrive bought out Glenn Seton Racing with Seton himself and Craig Lowndes as the foundation drivers.

A range of top line drivers have followed in subsequent years, including Jason Bright and Steve Richards, who both won races for the team. Young gun Mark Winterbottom joined the team in 2006 and has developed into a race-winner with championship-winning potential and has not finished lower than fifth since joining the team, while Will Davison and Chaz Mostert joined in 2011.

The Melbourne-based team will operate four cars from its workshop this season – the #5 and #6 Falcons under the Pepsi Max Crew PRA banner alongside Rod Nash’s own #55 The Bottle-O entry and the #111 Team Black.
